About Mammoth
Mammoth is the largest film studio within central London Zone 2 featuring two premium stages designed for commercial work.
It was built by working crew who knew exactly what a shoot day needs: drive-in access, good power, a grid you can rig fast and spaces clients actually want to spend the day in. Good parking and good coffee also count for a lot!
We recognised a gap for a studio that did not just offer space, but an experience. Everything was designed from the perspective of the people who shoot here. We continue to innovate and develop alongside an industry that continues to evolve.
Before Mammoth, James and Sam built Cinelight from the ground up as working gaffers. Frustrated by an industry that often struggled to match the pace and demands of commercial production, they created a lighting rental house centred on quality, reliability and genuine collaboration.
As the business grew, those same values became the blueprint for Mammoth — a studio designed specifically for the realities of modern commercial shoots. Today, Cinelight and Mammoth remain crew-led, production-focused and relentlessly committed to helping clients do their best work.
